When you install One Click Backup, we access your store data solely to perform backups. This includes products, collections, pages, blogs, metafields, URL redirects, and customers. We also collect your shop domain and basic account information provided by Shopify during installation.
Your data is used exclusively to create, store, and restore backups as requested. Backups are stored securely in our database and are never shared with third parties. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties.
All backup data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest. Access to the database is restricted and authenticated. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
Backups are retained based on your selected plan and schedule settings. Old backups are automatically deleted according to your configured retention period. When you uninstall the app, all your backup data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
We use Shopify's API to access your store data and process billing through Shopify's secure payment system. We may use email services (such as Resend) to send backup notification emails to addresses you specify. We do not use analytics or tracking services that share your data.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You can delete your backups directly from the app or contact us to request data removal. Uninstalling the app initiates automatic deletion of all stored data.
